1. Purpose of These Guidelines

These Affiliate Disclosure Guidelines explain how Affiliates must disclose their relationship with MRNMarket when promoting MRNMarket, the Platform, Products, Sellers, Services, offers, referral links, campaigns, or marketplace activity.

These Guidelines are intended to support:

These Guidelines apply to Affiliates, creators, influencers, publishers, bloggers, marketers, agencies, referral partners, promotional partners, and any User who promotes MRNMarket in exchange for potential commissions, referral payments, rewards, discounts, credits, benefits, or other compensation.

2. Relationship With Other Policies

These Guidelines should be read together with:

  1. Terms & Conditions;
  2. Affiliate Agreement;
  3. Affiliate Policy;
  4. Affiliate Program Overview;
  5. Affiliate Brand Usage Policy;
  6. Affiliate Fraud & Abuse Policy;
  7. Affiliate Payout & Tax Policy;
  8. Affiliate Verification Policy;
  9. Communication Policy;
  10. Acceptable Use Policy;
  11. Privacy Policy;
  12. Cookie & Tracking Policy;
  13. Intellectual Property Policy;
  14. Platform Rules & Governance Policy;
  15. Definitions Policy; and
  16. other applicable MRNMarket policies.

If these Guidelines conflict with the Affiliate Agreement or another controlling MRNMarket policy, the controlling policy will apply.

3. General Disclosure Requirement

Affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose their affiliate relationship with MRNMarket whenever they promote MRNMarket or use affiliate links, referral codes, sponsored content, paid posts, promotional campaigns, or other compensated content.

A disclosure is required when the Affiliate may receive:

  1. commission;
  2. referral payment;
  3. reward;
  4. discount;
  5. credit;
  6. free product or service;
  7. special access;
  8. promotional benefit;
  9. business opportunity;
  10. or any other compensation or benefit connected to the promotion.

Affiliates are responsible for complying with applicable advertising, endorsement, influencer marketing, consumer protection, privacy, anti-spam, and platform-specific rules.

4. Clear and Conspicuous Disclosure

Affiliate disclosures must be easy for ordinary Users to notice, read, and understand.

Disclosures should be:

  1. placed close to the affiliate link, claim, recommendation, review, or promotional statement;
  2. visible before or at the time the User interacts with the affiliate content;
  3. written in clear language;
  4. not hidden in a footer, terms page, profile bio only, or long block of unrelated text;
  5. not buried behind vague links such as “more,” “info,” or “terms”;
  6. not contradicted by other statements;
  7. repeated where necessary across long-form content;
  8. readable on mobile devices;
  9. understandable without legal or technical knowledge; and
  10. appropriate for the format used.

5. Approved Disclosure Examples

Affiliates may use clear disclosure language such as:

  1. “I may earn a commission if you purchase through this link.”
  2. “As an affiliate, I may receive compensation from qualifying referrals.”
  3. “This post contains affiliate links.”
  4. “I may receive a referral reward if you sign up through my link.”
  5. “Paid affiliate promotion.”
  6. “Affiliate link: I may earn a commission.”
  7. “Sponsored affiliate content.”
  8. “I may be compensated if you use my referral code.”

Affiliates should choose disclosure language that accurately describes the relationship and compensation involved.

6. Disclosures to Avoid

Affiliates should not use vague, hidden, unclear, or misleading disclosures.

Examples of inadequate or risky disclosures may include:

  1. “Thanks MRNMarket”
  2. “Partner link”
  3. “Support me”
  4. “Link below”
  5. “Collab”
  6. “Ambassador”
  7. “Special link”
  8. “Recommended”
  9. “My favorite platform”
  10. “Click here”
  11. “Official deal”
  12. hashtags only, such as “#sp” or “#collab,” if unclear to ordinary Users;
  13. disclosure only at the bottom of a long page;
  14. disclosure only in a website footer;
  15. disclosure only on a separate disclosure page;
  16. disclosure only in a profile bio when the promotional post contains the affiliate link;
  17. disclosure hidden among many hashtags;
  18. disclosure in very small text;
  19. disclosure that disappears quickly in a video or story; or
  20. disclosure that is contradicted by claims of independence.

7. Social Media Disclosures

For social media posts, disclosures should appear clearly in the post itself.

Acceptable examples may include:

  1. “Affiliate link — I may earn a commission.”
  2. “I may earn a commission from this MRNMarket link.”
  3. “Paid affiliate promotion.”
  4. “This post contains affiliate links.”
  5. “I may receive compensation if you sign up through my referral link.”

Disclosures should appear near the beginning of the post, caption, video description, or visible text.

Affiliates should not place disclosures only after a long list of hashtags or in a location where Users are unlikely to see them.

8. Video and Livestream Disclosures

For videos, livestreams, reels, shorts, or similar content, Affiliates should disclose the affiliate relationship clearly in both:

  1. the video or audio content itself; and
  2. the video description, caption, or visible text where available.

Disclosures should appear early in the content before or at the time the affiliate link, referral code, recommendation, or promotional claim is made.

For long videos or livestreams, the disclosure should be repeated where appropriate.

Example video disclosure:

“This video contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you use my MRNMarket referral link.”

9. Blog, Website, and Article Disclosures

For blogs, websites, articles, guides, review pages, comparison pages, or landing pages, the disclosure should appear clearly before or near the first affiliate link or promotional claim.

Acceptable examples:

  1. “This article contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you purchase or sign up through these links.”
  2. “Disclosure: I may receive compensation from MRNMarket for qualifying referrals.”
  3. “Affiliate disclosure: Some links on this page may earn me a commission.”

A general disclosure page may be useful, but it is not enough by itself if the affiliate content does not also include a clear disclosure near the relevant link or claim.

10. Email, SMS, and Messaging Disclosures

Affiliates must comply with applicable email, SMS, anti-spam, privacy, and marketing laws before sending promotional messages.

Affiliate disclosures in email, SMS, or messaging content should be clear and visible.

Examples:

  1. “This email contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission from qualifying referrals.”
  2. “Affiliate link: I may receive compensation if you sign up through this link.”

Affiliates must not send spam, unauthorized messages, deceptive subject lines, misleading promotions, fake support messages, or messages that impersonate MRNMarket.

11. Paid Ads and Sponsored Content

Affiliates running paid ads or sponsored content must clearly disclose paid or affiliate relationships where required.

Affiliates must not create ads that appear to be official MRNMarket ads unless expressly authorized in writing.

Paid ads must not:

  1. mislead Users;
  2. hide affiliate status;
  3. imply official MRNMarket operation;
  4. use unauthorized MRNMarket trademarks;
  5. use fake discounts;
  6. use false urgency;
  7. use unsupported claims;
  8. promote prohibited Products;
  9. target prohibited audiences or jurisdictions;
  10. or violate advertising platform rules.

12. Reviews, Rankings, and Recommendations

If an Affiliate reviews, ranks, compares, recommends, or endorses MRNMarket, the Affiliate must disclose any affiliate relationship or compensation.

Affiliates must not claim that a review is completely independent if compensation, referral benefits, commissions, or other incentives may apply.

Reviews and recommendations must be honest, current, and based on genuine experience or accurate information.

Affiliates must not use fake reviews, fake testimonials, manipulated ratings, fabricated user experiences, or misleading comparisons.

13. Influencer and Creator Content

Influencers and creators must disclose affiliate relationships clearly in posts, videos, stories, reels, shorts, livestreams, podcasts, newsletters, and other content.

Disclosures should be noticeable before the User clicks a link, uses a referral code, or relies on a recommendation.

Affiliates must not rely only on platform labels if the label is unclear, hidden, or not visible to ordinary Users. Where appropriate, the Affiliate should include their own clear disclosure.

14. Referral Codes and Discount Codes

If an Affiliate shares a referral code, discount code, coupon code, or promotional code and may receive compensation or benefits, the Affiliate must disclose that relationship.

Example:

“I may receive compensation if you use my referral code.”

Affiliates must not advertise fake discounts, expired codes, unauthorized coupons, or misleading savings.

15. Claims About MRNMarket

Affiliate disclosures do not allow misleading claims.

Affiliates must not claim or imply that MRNMarket:

  1. guarantees refunds;
  2. guarantees Buyer Protection;
  3. guarantees delivery;
  4. guarantees Seller verification;
  5. guarantees Product quality;
  6. guarantees Seller performance;
  7. guarantees affiliate earnings;
  8. guarantees payout;
  9. guarantees approval;
  10. guarantees safety;
  11. acts as a bank;
  12. acts as a licensed escrow provider;

  14. acts as a payment processor;
  15. provides legal advice;
  16. provides tax advice;
  17. provides financial advice; or
  18. makes any promise not expressly authorized by MRNMarket.

Affiliates should describe MRNMarket as a marketplace technology platform unless MRNMarket provides different approved language.

16. No Hidden or Deceptive Links

Affiliate links must not be hidden, disguised, misleading, forced, or presented in a way that deceives Users.

Affiliates must not use:

  1. hidden links;
  2. forced clicks;
  3. automatic redirects without clear context;
  4. misleading buttons;
  5. fake official pages;
  6. fake login pages;
  7. fake checkout pages;
  8. fake support pages;
  9. disguised affiliate links;
  10. cookie stuffing;
  11. or any link practice prohibited by MRNMarket policies or applicable law.

17. Platform-Specific Rules

Affiliates must follow the rules of the platforms where they promote MRNMarket, including social media platforms, search engines, ad networks, email services, app stores, messaging platforms, video platforms, and creator platforms.

If a third-party platform requires specific disclosure tools, labels, or formats, Affiliates must use them where required.

Using a platform disclosure tool does not remove the Affiliate’s responsibility to make the disclosure clear, accurate, and understandable.

18. International Promotions

Affiliates promoting MRNMarket to Users in different countries or regions must comply with applicable local advertising, marketing, endorsement, influencer, privacy, anti-spam, consumer protection, tax, and platform rules.

MRNMarket may restrict promotion in certain jurisdictions, audiences, languages, categories, or campaigns.

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their promotions are lawful in the locations where they are displayed or targeted.

19. Monitoring and Review

MRNMarket may monitor affiliate content, posts, links, videos, emails, ads, landing pages, websites, social media, disclosures, claims, referral codes, and promotional methods for compliance.

MRNMarket may request:

  1. screenshots;
  2. links;
  3. copies of ads;
  4. email samples;
  5. landing page records;
  6. campaign records;
  7. disclosure examples;
  8. traffic source information;
  9. or other evidence needed to review compliance.

Failure to cooperate may result in commission denial, payout delay, Account restriction, Account suspension, Account termination, or other Enforcement Action.

20. Enforcement

MRNMarket may take Enforcement Actions for disclosure violations, misleading promotions, brand misuse, unlawful marketing, or other affiliate policy violations.

Enforcement Actions may include:

  1. warning;
  2. request for correction;
  3. content removal request;
  4. link suspension;
  5. campaign restriction;
  6. commission denial;
  7. commission reversal;
  8. payout hold where permitted;
  9. payout denial where permitted;
  10. Account restriction;
  11. Account suspension;
  12. Account termination;
  13. loss of unpaid commissions where permitted;
  14. reporting to advertising platforms, social platforms, regulators, law enforcement, rights owners, or affected parties where permitted or required;
  15. record preservation; and
  16. other actions allowed by MRNMarket policies and applicable law.

MRNMarket is not required to take the same action in every case and may consider severity, risk, history, intent, evidence, legal requirements, platform integrity, brand harm, and business needs.

21. No Guarantee

MRNMarket does not guarantee affiliate approval, campaign availability, tracking accuracy, commission approval, payout eligibility, payout timing, payout success, traffic, conversions, earnings, or continued affiliate program operation.

Compliance with these Guidelines does not guarantee commissions or continued participation.
